We are currently looking for Homeless Services Worker (ATAR Program) to join our great team.
The Homelessness Services Worker (ATAR Program) will support Aboriginal people providing advice, advocacy and referral services assisting tenants to resolve housing disputes. You will support Aboriginal Tenants in public and community housing including Aboriginal Housing Victoria.
This role is well suited to an individual who is motivated and passionate about making a difference in other people’s lives. The successful applicant will join a team of committed individuals supporting clients experiencing homelessness.
Creating community connections is your gift. You are a proud Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander who is passionate about assisting Aboriginal families. You enjoy building relationships with Aboriginal families and other key stakeholders involved in an Aboriginal person’s life. This is a standalone position supported by a knowledgeable and experienced team. You are willing to learn and develop within the position.
Whilst tertiary qualifications (Cert IV, Diploma or Degree) in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Psychology or other relevant area would be advantageous, we would prefer a passionate individual with experience in the sector or a new graduate who is keen to learn and grow into this role.
