Role Overview

The primary purpose of this position is looking after Cafs history records. In essence, this means; we record, care for, interpret and provide access to the histories of current, future and former residents and clients, on their behalf.

Qualifications

Formal qualifications in Archives/Record keeping systems.

Incumbent Overview

You are an enthusiastic and committed individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience in archives and record keeping systems. Your working knowledge and grounded understanding of the importance of records to care leavers and their families including Aboriginal people who are part of the stolen Generation will be vital to ensure your success. You enjoy stakeholder management, relationship building and bring solid communication skills and the ability to engage well with others. Evidence of skills in project management and being able to deliver outcomes within timeframes is also important.
