We are looking for an Aboriginal person with an interest and aptitude in people-centred research to join our team.
This position will work in the Congress History Project. It has a key role in the project team's work to engage members of the Congress community and collect information through oral history interviews, workshops, video blogs and displays. The position will also assist the project team to organise and interpret historical materials (including photographs and documents) and other information relevant to Congress history and make them accessible to the Congress community. These materials hold stories of Congress, starting from its formation by Aboriginal people in central Australia in 1973 to support and advocate in their struggle for justice and equity, through its development as a leading Aboriginal community-controlled primary health service, and its ongoing advocacy for social justice and equity.
