Brisbane Youth Service is a medium-sized incorporated association providing holistic responses to vulnerable young people (aged 12 – 25 years) and young families who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of becoming homeless.

The Housing Support Worker provides crisis, brief intervention and ongoing planned support to young people including BYS tenants, enabling young people to successfully transition into independent living. This position works collaboratively with other teams within BYS, key partners and the broader community to effectively respond to issues associated with housing and homelessness.
To undertake the Housing Support Worker role, you will require a tertiary qualification or working towards (studying) Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences or similar, or experience; have a current Queensland driver’s license and you must hold a current Working with Children Positive Notice (blue card).
