The Service is a not for profit independent incorporated association (which auspices Berkeley Vale Neighbourhood Centre and Bateau Bay Neighbourhood Centre and Tuggerah Out of School Hours Care) which delivers a range of programs and activities for children, youth and families. BVNC Inc. provides individualised support for vulnerable people and families including food relief, information, advice, referral, advocacy and support as well as pathways to employment. The service is funded by the Department of Communities and Justice.

The Board of Governance of Berkeley Vale Neighbourhood Centre Inc. is looking for a dynamic Service Manager to lead and oversee the day to day operations across both Berkeley Vale and Bateau Bay Neighbourhood Centres. This also includes liaising with the Tuggerah Out of School Hours Care Program.
The Service requires a positive and empathetic leader with commitment to BVNC Inc.’s Vision and Mission demonstrating knowledge and understanding about the needs of the vulnerable and homeless people in the local community. A high level of interpersonal skills and experience in working within a community development framework and in partnership with other agencies is desirable.
It is expected that the applicant for this position also demonstrates well developed computer skills with a range of software packages.
The Service Manager is Responsible to the Board of Governance reporting directly to the President.
