Bushfire Recovery Victoria (BRV) is a new permanent Victorian Government agency with a mandate to work directly with communities to support their recovery after bushfire disaster.
BRV takes a community-led approach to recovery, coordinating rebuilding and recovery and partnering with communities, governments, businesses and not-for-profit organisations to ensure recovery programs and services meet the needs of bushfire-affected communities, individuals and regions.
BRV is seeking applications from suitably qualified applicants for the role of Wellbeing Support Officer, East Gippsland. Reporting to the Recovery Coordinator, People & Wellbeing this role will support people impacted by last summer’s bushfires to navigate mental health and psychosocial recovery services and will be a key part of the broader network of wellbeing services in East Gippsland.

Relevant qualifications in a health or social care discipline such as social work, occupational therapy, nursing, psychology youth work and a drivers license are mandatory for applicants.
