We’re looking for a professional Youth Service Development and Practice Manager with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a maximum-term full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week based in Fitzroy.

THE ROLE

The Service Development and Practice Manager will conduct service development and practice activities across Youth programs.

The role will be responsible for both leading and supporting key service development and practice work of the Youth Division across several areas.

  • Work collaboratively within teams to achieve common goals.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the Brotherhood’s quality framework and culture by participating in and promoting quality actions through continual improvement activities.
  • In collaboration with the manager, set goals and objectives to ensure outcomes are met.

Salary will be $93,154.77 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for an who has the following key skills and experiences:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in the area of education, youth, community services or a related field
  • Proven youth focus, with an understanding of and commitment to the values and ideals of the Youth Division including the Advantaged Thinking
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan workload, prioritise and meet deadlines, and the ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding of policy and practice in the area of education, employment and disadvantage among young people in the Australian context
  • Customer service focused
  • Highly developed administration, computer skills and competency in Microsoft Program
