We’re looking for a professional Transition to Work Team Leader with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a 12 Month Maximum Term Full-Time basis, working 37.5 hours per week based in Frankston.

THE ROLE

This role supervises and is accountable for the daily support and KPIs of a team of Youth Development Coaches. The incumbent will also support the engagement and progress of young people in the TTW program, during and post-program, which includes responsibility for placement of participants into education and employment outcomes.

  • Provide coaching and support to all direct reports in the performance of their duties, monitoring and providing appropriate feedback in relation to their day- to- day work and KPI’s
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings and ongoing performance reviews with direct reports
  • Ensure that TTW staff collect data as required for the Research and Policy Centre evaluation and reports required by the Brotherhood of St Laurence and Department of Employment 
  • Adhere to the TTW Practice Guide and support the development and delivery of professional learning programs for participants  

Salary will be in the range of $85,264.31 to $89,124.91 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for an who has the following key skills and experiences:

  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Social Work, Community Development, Youth Work or relevant tertiary qualification and/or appropriate experience in training, career planning and guidance
  • Demonstrated experience of working in an outcomes-focused environment
  • A depth of knowledge about the causes and consequences of youth unemployment and the kinds of strategies that are successful in helping young people follow pathways to work 
  • Customer service focused
  • Highly-developed administration, computer skills and competency in Microsoft Program
