The Brotherhood of St Laurence Aged Care provides Residential, Community Care, Care at Home and Social Connections and Respite with a focus on enabling older people who access our services to flourish. 

The brotherhood Social Connections and Respite Banksia Frankston has a vacancy for a Program Coordinator in the Cottage Respite Service.  This position requires an experienced registered nurse to deliver outstanding clinical care to the clients with complex care needs and people living with dementia who use the facility for respite.   You will be responsible for the clinical care of the clients.

About you

  • You will bring extensive experience in Aged Care with an emphasis on caring for clients with dementia and complex care needs
  • You will be experienced in delivering excellent person-centred care in a nurturing environment
  • A registered nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • You will be committed to making a difference to the lives of vulnerable people
  • You will have experience in the delivery of a service that provides a supportive, stimulating environment.
  • You will be a concise and engaging communicator who builds rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • You will be a leader and mentor for staff to ensure clinical care needs are compliant and best practice
  • You will have a sound knowledge of funding, the Aged Care Standards, quality audits and OH&S requirements
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills with the ability to adapt to varying requirements.
