We’re looking for a Financial Capability Program Coordinator  with relevant experience who wants to join our team on a part time maximum term contract until 30 September 2025, working 30.4 hours per week based in Epping.

THE ROLE

This position manages the implementation and delivery of the Financial Empowerment and Resilience Network (FERN), a key project within the Financial Capability Program. The incumbent will be responsible for building participants’ financial capability through the delivery of tailored coaching and educational workshops informed by the Financial Wellbeing Framework. The coordinator will also contribute more broadly to the Financial Capability Program by working collaboratively with other coordinators to deliver financial education workshops in their respective programs as required.  

  • Plan and administer training sessions and guide participants to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with the MoneyMinded program and BSL guidelines.
  • In conjunction with the Program Manager, develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with key referral stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the BSL’s quality framework and culture by participating in and promoting quality actions through continual improvement activities.
  • Handle participant and volunteer details professionally, ensuring confidentiality always.

Salary will be in the range of $87,886.87 - $94,565.36 pro rata per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver training programs in an online and face-to-face environment.
  • Self-motivation, with the ability to interact with and contribute to a team.
  • An understanding of the factors impacting financial wellbeing and the educational requirements surrounding this.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and liaise across all levels both internally, externally and with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Highly developed administration, computer skills and competency in Microsoft Programs
