We’re looking for a professional BSL Planner with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a 12-month maximum term full-time basis, working 38 hours per week.

Applicants will be based in offices located in suburbs in Northern, Western or Southern/Bayside Peninsula areas, Victoria. These roles will be part of a virtual team of planners who complete first plans and plan reviews for people 0-65 years.

Successful applicants will be located in an agreed nominated office.  They are not be required to travel to different offices on a daily basis but may be required to meet centrally for training or occasional meetings.

THE ROLE

The BSL Planner role is specifically focused on maximising workflow and workload management across both ECEI and LAC. This role will be part of a virtual team of planners who complete first plans and plan reviews in ECEI and LAC, depending on workflow in each region and program. They will then provide handover of participants back to local teams for ongoing implementation and monitoring or subsequent reviews.

  • Provide timely, efficient and high-quality planning and plan review support
  • Ensure that the capabilities of each person are utilised to the maximum extent possible in determining and implementing their own plans.
  • Assist people with disability and their carers to document their circumstances and personal objectives.

Salary will be in the range of $74,531.95 - $80,995.58 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

  • Relevant qualifications in the disability sector and/or lived experience or awareness of the impact of existing or acquired disability upon individuals, families, carers and the community
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to helping people attain their goals
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for decisions
  • Experience with highly accountable processes that are subject to external review.
  • Customer service focused
  • Highly developed administration, computer skills and competency in Microsoft Program
