Relationships Australia NSW are excited to be expanding our group education programs.

About the role

This casual position reports to Team Leader Group Work, and the role will see you working with clients to provide clinical services in a group setting. This will see you delivering psycho-educational groups to a diverse range of individuals, couples and families.

The groups will focus on the delivery of Family Safety and Relationship Education Programs which include:

  • Various Relationship Education Groups
  • Women, Choice and Change (Domestic Violence Survivor Group for women)
  • Taking Responsibility (Men's Behaviour Change Program)
  • Engage Program - Brief intervention Domestic Violence group program for users of Domestic Violence

The casual hourly rate for this role is $49.27/ hour or $37.90 for Part time Fixed term contract to December 2020.

We're interested in hearing from people who possess a combination of the below:

  • Relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology, social work, health promotion, adult education, community welfare or similar field (minimum Diploma level) including group work training
  • Relevant training and experience in facilitating Family Safety and Relationship Education Programs
  • Ability to relate to a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds (including Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) and in a range of settings
  • Excellent written/verbal skills and experience in delivering presentations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid and current Working with Children Check Clearance & police check
  • Current NSW Driver's License and own comprehensively insured motor vehicle
