Brisbane South PHN has an exciting opportunity to become part of our System Integration and Coordination team. This role will help create compelling and visually engaging content that effectively communicates Brisbane South PHN’s programs, initiatives, and public health messages across multiple platforms.

This is a permanent part time role (0.8 FTE).

About the Company:

Brisbane South PHN is one of 31 regional Primary Health Networks (PHNs) established nationally by the Australian Government to help deliver an efficient and effective primary health care system for the people of Australia.

We work with health professionals and communities to understand our region’s health and wellbeing needs, and commission services that respond to those needs. By investing in person-centred, place-based models of care, we deliver results for the people and communities in our region and support broader health system reform.

The objective of this position is to:

  1. Create compelling and visually engaging content that effectively communicates Brisbane South PHN’s programs, initiatives, and public health messages across multiple platforms.
  2. Manage design projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring all visual materials align with organisational goals, brand standards, and accessibility requirements.

Requirements of the role:

Essential

  • Qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, multimedia production, video editing, and photography
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual storytelling, including design for print, digital, and multimedia.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Current driver’s licence
  • National Police Check

Desirable

  • Experience in video production, animation, or motion graphics is a plus.
  • Experience in designing for the health or community services sector is preferrable, but not necessary.
