Work with a small family, in the family's home in Noosaville. Support Workers are needed long term to play an integral part in helping to run a household. Our delightful six-year-old little boy has cerebral palsy but doesn't let that stop him from enjoying life to the full. He is a happy go lucky little boy, who loves socialising with his peers or his lovely support workers. He has an equally adorable twin brother who he loves to bits.
Hours of work range between 6am - 8pm. The family is currently seeking someone with availabilities in afternoons (3-7pm) and/or on weekends. Minimum of 2 shifts per week. The family hire multiple workers so the roster can be flexible dependant on worker availability.
Initial pay is in accordance with the SCHADS Award – Home Care Employee – Casual Day Worker – Level 2.1. This is equivalent to: $28.99 (Weekday), $40.58 (Saturday), $52.18 (Sunday), and $ 63.77 (Public holiday). As the role develops, the renumeration is adjusted to reflect additional responsibilities.
The employer processes wages weekly, and also provides 10% Superannuation and PAYG Tax.
Individuals registering or registered as a provider with NDIA (National Disability Insurance Australia) and who have their own ABN and Insurances can also apply to negotiate a contract.
