We currently provide social and affordable housing for over 5,000 residents in 3,400 properties across metropolitan Sydney. Our offices are located in the Haymarket and Brookvale.

Based in our Haymarket Office, the Executive Assistant provides executive support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and quality administrative support to the Executive Team and Board. The role will establish, evaluate and improve administrative systems and procedures, while maintaining confidentiality of high-level information as well as engagement with staff, customers, government and other stakeholders.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the CEO to achieve personal and organisational objectives by providing superior executive and secretarial support that ensures optimal use of the CEO's time and support the delivery of the strategic and business plans
  • Maintain and coordinate an effective calendar and filing system, ensuring the CEO's competing demands are effectively managed
  • Prepare agendas and minutes of various internal and external meetings convened or attended by the CEO (or other agreed meetings). Follow up matters arising at such meetings on behalf of the CEO
  • Draft and edit correspondence and communications on behalf of the CEO
  • Support the CEO by proactively responding to enquiries from Government, Regulators, Board Members, residents, staff and other customers with a high level of discretion, maturity, diplomacy and judgement ensuring exceptional customer experience
  • Provide administrative support to members of the Executive Team by coordinating travel arrangements, conference and event registration for the business
  • Assist with preparation, formatting and distribution of agenda and associated papers for Board
  • Maintain up-to-date paper and electronic records including Board packs, approved Board and Committee minutes, Board resolutions, new Board and Committee Member documents, and annual Board of Directors changes
  • Event management including logistics and catering for board, executive team meetings, workshops, internal and external events and functions

Essential Requirements:

Please respond to the following essential criteria in your application letter:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role supporting a CEO or senior Executive
  • Strong organisational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters
  • NSW Driver's license

Salary

The salary for the role is $78,641 - $89,000 + Super + Salary Packaging.
