Based in our Brookvale Office, the Contract Administrator reports to the Contract Manager, and is a member of the Assets team. The role is responsible for supporting the Contract Manager in ensuring the successful roll out of processes and systems implemented to manage the delivery of asset services under the LAHC AMS contract on the Northern Beaches. The position is a fixed term opportunity for 8 months, with a view to permanency.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Contract Manager to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with the maintenance contractor and NSW Land and Housing Corporation
  • Assist in the appropriate maintenance of Bridge Housing assets by adhering to the relevant plan and processes in place to manage the various programs of work.
  • Maintain high levels of quality client service to tenants by coordinating maintenance works with the contractor and ensuring works are carried out in line with the maintenance engagement deed.
  • Support that Asset team to ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction is maintained by keeping tenants in loop with regards to all programs of work.
  • Assist the Assets team maintain good governance and administration of by keeping accurate records, files and information in the relevant system and providing accurate information and reporting as agreed.
  • Support Bridge Housing to maintain timely and efficient performance through the administration of associated vacant works to ensure they are completed within target timeframes and minimise loss of rental income.
  • Support the delivery of quality homes by assisting to audit contractor performance and quality of work, including identifying areas of risk across all our maintenance programs.
  • Assist the Asset Team to administer disability modifications (required from Occupational Therapist Reports), environmental sustainability design initiatives and the tenant alteration approval process across our property portfolio and provide reporting as required

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 1 years administration' experience for a construction, maintenance or property project management background
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Empathetic and customer service oriented
  • Understanding of social housing management, policy and legislation applying to community housing (Desirable)

Salary and Classification:

This role is classified as a Level 3 within the Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. The salary for the role is $68,057 - $73,197 (depending on experience) + Super + Salary Packaging.
