Established in 1986, Breakaway Toowoomba Inc. is a non-profit organisation whose focus is on providing quality respite services to people with a disability, their carers and families.

Due to the business continuing to expand multiple vacancies currently exist for experienced and motivated Casual Enrolled Nurses to join our team.

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• Registration with AHPRA
• Outstanding planning and co-ordinating skills in matters related to the delivery of care
• Excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal and team membership skills
• Previous experience with PEG Feeding
• Previous experience using hoists
• Experience with Seizure Management
• Experience with clients who experience Mental Health issues thus being resilient coupled with a drive to achieve behaviour management goals.
• Experience with delivering care to those with Cerebral Palsy and Huntington’s would be advantageous
• A current Driver Licence
• Comprehensive car insurance
• Blue Card/Yellow Card
• Current Criminal History Check
• Passion and drive to support people with a disability to achieve specific goals
• Reliable and positive work ethic and friendly nature
