Support Worker - Mental Health

You’ll be responsible for all aspects of your clients’ daily living routine, ranging from supporting them to develop and maintain independence in personal care, health and hygiene, assisting with domestic duties and helping with engagement and participate in the community.

Longevity is highly important and reliability is needed from staff as clients take time to develop relationships and build trust with people. That’s why we are willing to offer the right person the opportunity to develop their own extensive roster and nurture their client relationships on an on-going basis.

Essential requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability Care (or)
  • Dept of Health Covid 19 and NDIS (Worker Orientation) certificates*
  • Extensive experience working in a similar healthcare environment
  • Mental health experience (training preferred, but not essential)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Manual Handling competency evidence (or willingness to complete an on-line course)
  • Police Check
  • Available and suitable car for work, clean licence, fully insured
