WorkVenture’s purpose is Social Inclusion Through Technology – the growth of this program is one way that we can achieve our purpose. WorkVentures is Australia's oldest social enterprises that is being forced to pivot due to changing economic, technological, social and environment changes in Australia.

This newly created role will be responsible for developing, growing and resourcing the corporate e-waste business that includes the collection, warehousing and reconditioning of e-waste (mainly laptops, computers etc), then the resale and technical support of this technology for their clients. This is a business to business and business to consumer business that supports disadvantaged, minority groups and low income earners. You will need to partner with corporates, Centrelink, charities and government to ensure the success of the business.

WorkVenture’s corporate recycling, reuse and tech support functions provide training and employment opportunities for Australian’s young people. By expanding our recycling/reuse business we can support put more people in roles and provide technology to those who would otherwise be isolated.

With the support of business development, marketing, finance and customer specialists, you will design a business that is attractive to corporate, government and NFP companies. You will then develop partnership agreements and support the implementation and growth of the programs.

We are looking for someone with strong social conscience with a passion for the environment and people. You will have social and IT program development skills, a passion for social inclusion and very strong business and financial management, project management and corporate partnerships skills.

We expect this to be a 12 month contract that will evolve into a Head of Programs for the various social programs that WorkVentures is proud to offer.
