The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating BlakDance marketing campaigns and activities.

BlakDance is the national industry and producing organisation for First Nation contemporary dance. With a national mandate, BlakDance is based on Turrbal and Yuggera Country in Meanjin (Brisbane) at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts.

We are a self-determined, sovereign Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation and a trusted source of productive, culturally responsible partnerships. We are governed by a voluntary Board that ensures the organisation meets financial and governance responsibilities. The BlakDance Cultural Council ensures Indigenous cultural knowledge is part of our everyday business.

Ideal start date: July 2020.

Term: Six month contract, with a three-month probation period.
