About the Role

Black Swan Health is seeking two experienced Clinical Governance, Quality & Compliance Officer to join our team. One role is permanent full-time and the other is a short-term contract. Potential for job share arrangement for the right candidate.

What to expect in this role:

The Clinical Governance, Compliance & Quality Officer is required to work collaboratively to monitor, maintain and improve the clinical governance, compliance and quality systems, which are integrated within the organisational governance framework. The objective is to ensure a systematic approach to maintaining and improving the quality of client care and to promote a client-focused and learning culture across all services delivered by Black Swan Health.

What are looking for:

  • Relevant professional and/or tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience working within quality, clinical or health-related discipline and influencing sound clinical governance systems.
  • Strong background in managing document control systems and internal auditing.
  • Strong background in incident, feedback and CAPA reporting.
  • Ability to assess risk and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills and capable of effective problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, coaching and influencing skills.
  • Strong computer literacy including experience with electronic document management systems.

Essential:

  • Knowledge of current legislation, standards and clinical guidelines.
  • Experience working within mental health services.
  • Knowledge of primary health care issues.
  • Internal auditing qualification.

Pre-Commencement Requirements:

  • National Police Clearance
