Himilo Community Connect and Banyule Community Health is looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Jobs Advocate able to deliver high quality, client centred employment to diverse community members of all ages. This is a great opportunity to lead the development and delivery of a high impact program that improves employment opportunities and outcomes for disadvantaged community. The position is full time, five days per week, based at Shop 48 Harmony Centre in the Mall in West Heidelberg.

Your motivation, interpersonal skills, and expertise will see you excel in this role as you:

• Provide high quality and engaging employment information to community forums and improves career aspirations and outcomes
• Provide targeted, intensive one to one support for job seekers to achieve sustained employment outcomes and career success
• Develop employer networks and partnerships to improve career pathways and employment opportunities
• Work with your employer to set and achieve ambitious and valuable KPIs in relation to successful job placements
• Engage with the broader organisation to collaborate and create innovative supports and solutions to employment barriers

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant field to the position
• Experience delivering employment support and activities to clients of all ages
• Experience in working with people from all ages and CALD backgrounds
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, organisational skills and time management skills
• Demonstrated experience and skill working in the employment support sector
