Launch Housing has an ambitious and singular mission to end homelessness. We aim to get people housed, keep them housed, and be an influential voice on ending homelessness. We are a secular, independent provider of choice for clients and the go-to organisation on homelessness for government, media, philanthropy, private donors and the community.
We are currently seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our dedicated team at our Fitzroy site. This is a COVID-19 Isolation and Recovery Facility. The site accommodates single persons whom are required to isolate due to being suspected COVID-19 and awaiting results or designated as a primary close contact to someone with COVID-19.
Support Workers provide support to residents, maintain safety within the accommodation service and provide an effective, safe and well-functioning environment. Support Workers will offer careful consideration of the residents' individual and diverse needs whilst encouraging the residents' independence, empowerment, autonomy and dignity. The role will be based in Fitzroy.
