About us

We are a not-for-profit real estate agency - a social enterprise within Launch Housing that provides an industry standard real estate service to investors, ensuring that property owner's investments are well taken care of. We attain market rate or below market rental returns for our landlords while reinvesting the management fee into our efforts to end homelessness.

About the role

As a valued team member of the HomeGround Real Estate (HGRE) team, you will play an important role in ensuring the agency establishes itself in the market place as a competitive provider of property management services. You will also play a key role in developing a reputation among the public and members of industry that demonstrates integrity and competence as real estate practitioners.

As a Business Development Manager your role will be to continue the growth of the agency through networking, brand awareness and to self-generate leads for more investors to choose HGRE to manage their properties.

Our expectations from you to succeed in this role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and the ability to effectively priorities tasks, demonstrate initiative, be proactive and anticipate areas where assistance is needed are essentials to being successful in this role. Working in a team environment the individual will be expected to demonstrate commitment, loyalty, respect and an ability to work as an enthusiastic team member to achieve the overall business objectives.

We want you to be compassionate, professional and honest. Be open to learning new things, be willing to bring your ideas to the table and be a team player.

It would be fantastic if you have property management experience, but it's not essential. You need to create opportunities, be passionate about what you do and why you do it and have the perfect balance of savvy sales skills while maintaining the highest level of ethical standards.

Of course, to get around town you will need a valid driver's license.
