NO MORE works with individuals, groups and communities to reduce family, domestic and sexual violence through raising awareness and education. NO MORE Campaign engages with relevant community groups and services to create, facilitate and support activities to effect social change that meet the following objectives:

• Objective 1: Support family, domestic and sexual violence reduction through changing community attitudes and norms in the NT
• Objective 2: Work effectively to change men's behaviour in relation to gender inequity, and domestic, family and sexual violence
• Objective 3: Decrease the incidence of domestic, family and sexual violence
• Objective 4: Respond to communities that have identified a high incidence of domestic, family and sexual violence and support community development initiatives that aim to decrease the incidence of domestic, family and sexual violence

The NO MORE Program Support Worker is responsible under general direction to provide activities that support the NO MORE program to meet its objectives. This position has a particular focus on group facilitation and marketing / promotion / networking and supporting community-based initiatives.

We are looking for a person with:

• Demonstrated experience in working in the area of domestic, family and sexual violence
• Ability to have a positive influence and credibility within the community
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement across a range of diverse groups
• Demonstrated ability and experience in working with remote Indigenous communities
• Willingness and capacity to work according to the values and mission of CatholicCare NT
