We have an exciting opportunity for a leadership role within our organisation. We are looking for a Financial Wellbeing & Capabilities Manager who will support the FWC program across CatholicCare NT's four regions.

The Financial Wellbeing and Capability area is rapidly evolving and developing. As a subject matter expert, the Financial Wellbeing and Capability (FWC) Manager drives the ongoing development and implementation of the CatholicCare NT model to support participant outcomes across 4 regions (Darwin, Top End Remote, Katherine, Tennant Creek) within the Northern Territory.

The person in this position needs to be adaptable and have the capacity to lead and manage a program across multiple sites. The ability to work well with multiple senior managers and in complex environments will be important.

You will form part of the leadership of the organisation and will contribute to the development of the whole organisation. This position is also required to manage relationships with key external stakeholders. The ability to provide supervision that builds capacity to meet program requirements to diverse, place-based teams is of vital importance to this role.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Ability to work within a demonstrated alignment to the values and mission of CatholicCare NT
  2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in financial counselling, with experience in working in the area of FWC, with membership to a Financial Counselling Association such as SAFCA or FCA
  3. Proven ability to develop partnerships, promote service capability and to represent the organisation in a consistent professional manner. Ability to develop strong partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and other services
  4.  At least 5 years experience with managing and supporting diverse staff groups and including the capacity to provide subject matter supervision to staff
  5. Ability to work to targets, meet deadlines and manage compliance
