  • Full-Time Position based in Tennant Creek

We are looking for a Case Manager to join our Children & Parenting team in Tennant Creek.

Purpose of the Position

The Case Manager is responsible for providing in-house and outreach strengths-based case management, mentoring, advocacy, parent education and practical support in order for the program to meet its objectives. This position has a particular focus on Aboriginal families therefore must be competent in delivering the program in a culturally safe way.

Children and Parenting is an early intervention program designed to support children, young people and families.

The program is delivered in Tennant Creek, which includes some surrounding communities.

The program has a particular focus on working with families and the wider community to ensure that children and young people are safe, nurtured, and engage in positive play experiences that promote development, increased confidence, and improved mental health and wellbeing.

The intended outcomes include:

  • Increased wellbeing of children 0-12
  • Increased parenting knowledge and skills
  • Increased parent child secure attachment
  • Increased safety for children and families
