The Acute Intervention Service's Community Outreach team is a 7 day a week service with two shifts (AM/PM). The team is a tertiary level multidisciplinary mental health drug and alcohol team. Its aim is to provide timely and effective assessment, treatment and assertive support for individuals aged 16-64 years with high acuity mental health and/or AOD needs using a brief intervention model of up to a maximum of a 28-day period.
The Senior Clinician will provide acute community assessment and treatment for people in the acute phase of their mental illness and/or alcohol and other drug (AOD) use and demonstrate leadership in both the ongoing development of the acute intervention service and day-day operations of the team. Our team allows you to demonstrate and grow as a senior clinician with primarily clinical interventions as well as leadership and operational opportunities.
You will work alongside other Senior Clinicians from all disciplines, including AOD specialists, Peer workers with a lived experience and psychiatrists.
