Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol Services (MHDAS) provides integrated and recovery orientated mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and / or drug and alcohol issues, and their families.
This is an exciting part-time (0.6 FTE) role within our internationally recognised Mental Health Drugs and Alcohol Service. The Mental Health Hospital in the Home service provides 9 adult and youth acute mental health bed-equivalent packages of care. This service is for consumers who are experiencing acute mental health crisis and would otherwise require admission to a mental health inpatient facility. MH HITH is a 24-hour service promoting a multidisciplinary approach whilst focusing on psychosocial needs of consumers and their carers.
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated senior clinician to be part of the Mental Health Hospital in the Home Service. You will provide acute community mental health treatment for people in the acute phase of their mental illness and demonstrate leadership in both the day-day leading of shifts, and the ongoing development of the service.
