Barwon Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Service (BMHDAS) provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families. Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are client centred, accessible and family inclusive.
You will provide assessment, treatment and recovery based interventions within a multidisciplinary team context to individuals and their families who experience a serious mental illness and live in the Barwon Region. The broader service delivery model of Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services (MHDAS) includes provision of high quality interventions that are consumer centred, family/carer inclusive and are delivered in a timely and coordinated manner in line with the Victorian Mental health Act 2014.
You will be working within an innovative, passionate multidisciplinary team who are a wealth of knowledge. You will receive support and guidance from these team members and management who endeavour to demonstrate the Barwon Health values, respect, compassion, commitment, accountability and innovation.
