Manager - Clinical Analytics, Risk & Service Improvement

As a Senior Clinical Risk & Service Improvement Analyst, you will work closely with the Senior Executive and leadership teams across Anglicare’s business to develop new resident focused metrics and measurement systems that provide timely reporting that is aimed to improve the safety and quality of all clinical services and differentiating the quality of clinical services that Anglicare provides. This role will be key in providing ongoing performance monitoring of regulatory compliance and adherence to the National aged care accreditation standards to exceed requirements and expectation of government regulation and accreditation agencies supporting all services across Anglicare.

About the Role

  • Actively contributes to the achievement of Anglicare’s Clinical Governance Units strategic goals and plans.
  • Support the development and implementation of a clinical governance framework for the Business
  • Manage process metrics, including baselines and targets and ongoing oversight of customer led Metrics and Measurement systems
  • Utilise a structured methodology to document and drive clinical reporting from information systems, including the use of diagrams and narratives.
  • Actively works with Department Heads to assist with clinical risk management and monitoring of care engaging to improve to service delivery
  • Support senior management teams to recognise clinical risks through the utilisation and training in the newly created metric systems
  • Deliver training to stakeholders on future state clinical processes and devices/tools/systems to ensure full capability to maintain the implementation of best practices
  • Report Key business data analysis and reports to the appropriate committees and boards
  • Participate in working groups and projects as required
  • Work interdependently with the Senior leaders within Anglicare

About you

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent with current AHPRA registration
  • Management or health related senior management qualifications
  • Proficiency in Power BI and excel reporting
  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level in clinical safety and assurance, or quality and compliance roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Senior experience in data management and clinical analysis
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in the acute and aged care sectors
  • Advanced knowledge of the aged care industry and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work unsupervised and interdependently in a challenging environment
