About this role

An opportunity exists for someone with excellent donor relationship and database management skills to join BGF’s Marketing and Fundraising team. Your primary focus will be to coordinate activities related to the care and stewardship of all new and existing donors, grow the donor base and administer the donor database including undertaking donor profiling and segmentation.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 45.6 hours per fortnight, based in Surry Hills, Sydney.

About you

To meet the challenges of this role you must address the following criteria:

Essential 

• Demonstrated experience with database administration (preferably Raisers Edge)
• Proven donor care and stewardship experience
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Excellent communication, administrative and IT skills 

Desirable

• Tertiary qualification in a related field
• An understanding of the range of issues for people living with HIV

BGF is Australia’s longest serving community-based HIV organisation committed to providing support and care to enable people living with HIV (PLHIV) to thrive. 

Founded in 1984, BGF undertakes a range of supports that address issues of long-term social isolation and economic poverty for people living with HIV in NSW and SA. 

Services include direct financial and practical assistance, financial counselling, community support services, and programs that build resilience and self-management using a client-centred, strengths-based model of care.

About the benefits

The salary for this position is up to $45,000 p.a. (equates to 0.6 FTE) dependent upon skills and experience, plus superannuation of 9.5%.

You will be working in a supportive work environment that includes flexible working hours, leave loading and non-taxable fringe benefit salary packaging options. 

The position is offered as a permanent part-time role working 45.6 hours per fortnight and is subject to a 6 month probationary period, with an immediate start.
