Reporting to the Head of Major Projects, the Project Lead will oversee the governance, implementation and delivery of support provided to bushfire-affected schools and early learning services and ensure this support meets both contractual and community needs.
In January 2020, Beyond Blue was funded to deliver the Be You Bushfire Response Program to provide tailored mental health support to early learning services and schools affected by the 2019/2020 bushfires. Working across South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and delivered as part of the Be You initiative, this program provides on the ground support to educators through trauma support and guidance, recovery planning and community support service mapping.
As the successful applicant, you will have a demonstrated history of relationship management with the ability to establish and maintain effective and positive relationships with multiple stakeholders. You will also possess advanced written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt, flex and adjust plans to meet community and project needs. We are also seeking applicants with a background in education, psychology, allied health, disaster recovery or public health with a relevant tertiary qualification. We are looking for someone with extensive leadership experience who will lead an established team across three partner organisations and is focused on building and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
