about the role

The Head of Business Intelligence will lead an exceptional Business Intelligence team through the delivery of the team strategy, direction, and vision. This will be achieved by ensuring the embedment of data science and advanced analytics to drive further insights to improve our ability to focus on community needs.

The Head of Business Intelligence will support a transformational change program which will enable the delivery of Beyond Blue’s vision, mission, values and Beyond 2020 strategic priorities, and result in more people in Australia achieving their best possible mental health. The successful applicant will lead a consolidation of key data and insights to support the development of a single ‘view of the person’, and entry point, recognised as the ‘Big Blue Door’.

about you

We envisage that the potential candidate will have experience developing teams in Analytics and Data Science capabilities, with a solid understanding of Data Engineering tools and techniques.

They will also have solid experience in delivering a Business Intelligence strategy and working closely with business line stakeholders. It is critical that the appointed candidate can work within the shade of grey and not just in the black and white. Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are required across all stakeholder levels including navigating sensitive content and work situations.

We see this role as one that can lead others on the Business Intelligence journey, including our Board Members.
