BESPOKE LIFESTYLES

Are you interested in independent work helping and supporting people with disability to have a good life?

Let us introduce you to a 57-year-old Geologist. He is a man that thrives around family, close friends and being outdoors.

After growing up in Sydney, his geology career diverted him to live in many rural and remote places in Australia and oversees. This career enabled him to enjoy his passions of camping-out in the bush, bush-walking, mountaineering, running, listening to music and interacting with interesting local people. After meeting his wife, he moved to Bardon and started a family. In 2006 whilst working oversees he was involved in an accident that left him with an acquired brain injury, the outcome of which has caused significant challenges and disability.

The family have directly engaged a loyal and long-term care team that provide a tailored level of support that is responsive and flexible. His day to day life is supported in a way that meets his physical and emotional needs and is broken up with trips away to Tamworth to spend time with relatives.
