The Opportunity

Exciting opportunities exist at Berry Street for people from all backgrounds, preferably with some experience working with children/young people, to become Foster Carers.

Berry Street’s Northern Home-Based Care Team are seeking volunteer Foster Carers to support children/young people who have graduated from the Teaching Family Model. Our Teaching Family Model homes provide children/young people with effective, trauma-informed care with a focus on social skill development.

We currently have two children who have come a long way in the evidenced based model and are now ready to live with Foster Carers.
