The Opportunity

The Team Leader Targeted Care Packages and Our House role oversees Berry Street’s Targeted Care Packages (TCP) and the Our House Program across the South East Victorian region. 

TCP provides a range of assessment and case coordination services to children and young people that may present with a range of complex needs. Additionally, this role includes the oversight of Our House which is a day respite program for children referred by Child Protection while awaiting placement in the region.

Key Responsibilities

The Team Leader promotes a culture of support and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of TCP services to a diverse mix of clients with varying needs and challenges, and will have up to a number of TCP Key Workers as direct reports.

The role will monitor and review the TCPs inclusive of all components and monitor workloads and staff wellbeing. The role will also oversee referrals and intake to Our House and coordinate staffing to this service.

This role is based at our Morwell Office in but will require regular travel to our Noble Park office to support team members based in the metropolitan area.

About You

You will hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or related discipline, ideally with demonstrated leadership skills, in particular experienced in leading both employees and volunteers.

You will have experience in working with children and young people on statutory protective orders and a demonstrated ability to achieve positive outcomes for young people through a strengths-based, outcomes-focused case management approach.
