The Opportunity

The Team Leader Complex Case Management role oversees the Targeted Care Packages (TCP), Lead Tenant (LT) Programs and Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) in Berry Street's Hume region, based in Shepparton.

The role provides support, supervision and direction to both staff and volunteer caregivers in conjunction with the wider Residential Care and Youth Service Leadership group. 

Key Responsibilities

The Team Leader promotes a culture of support and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of case management services to a diverse mix of clients with varying needs and challenges, and will have up to 6 Case Managers as direct reports.

The role will assist and support in overviewing referrals, case allocation, case planning/reviewing and risk assessment and monitor workloads and staff wellbeing. The role will also oversee and manage the implementation and acquittal of complex funding packages. 

About You

You will hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare or related discipline with demonstrated leadership skills, in particular experienced in leading both employees and volunteers.

You will have experience in working with children and young people on statutory protective orders and a sound knowledge of the nature of protective issues, homelessness, trauma and attachment, disability and the implications for their emotional and behavioural development.
