The Opportunity

The Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) provides schools and community service organisations with the training, curriculum and strategies to engage students who struggle in the classroom—and proactively support all students for their learning and wellbeing. It is unique because the BSEM equips schools to promote cognitive and behavioural change, thereby engaging the young person in learning and progressing their academic achievement. The Berry Street Education Model is now being shared with mainstream and specialist schools.

The Sales Project Officer position is a key role supporting the BSEM through engaging and maintaining client relationships, along with contributing to the setting of sales and revenue targets and working diligently to meet them.

This position is currently based in Richmond with a mix of in office and working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide insights to support sales strategy, with a focus on rapid response to new client enquiries 
  • Supporting the State Leads to increase the conversion rate from public courses to whole school courses by producing profiles of key customers/decision makers that attend public courses
  • Support sales team and state leads with insights from public course data
  • Track all sales
  • Assist in any details leading client towards formalised engagement 
  • International course logistics
  • Use of adobe to produce marketing and promotion information

About You

We are looking for a creative and motivated person who has a sound understanding of the Education sector, proven experience in excellent written and verbal communication as well as strong time-management skills and multitasking ability and experience in managing a high workload with minimal direct supervision, prioritising work within established policies, guidelines and procedures. You will have exceptional verbal and presentation skills, and have a high degree of initiative and a proactive approach. You will be a great collaborator and be excellent at creating and maintaining relationships. We are also seeking an individual who is comfortable in using IT systems, databases and website administration. Individuals with experience managing budgets and expenses would also be hugely desirable.
