The Opportunity

MoneyMinded is a flexible education program for adults seeking to build their money management skills, knowledge and confidence. The program has been developed by ANZ and Berry Street are licensed to deliver it.

The successful applicant will deliver ‘MoneyMinded Coach Training’ and ‘MoneyMinded Family Violence Coach Training’; targeting professionals in the community sector who are interested in using the MoneyMinded program and resources directly with their clients, either in groups or 1:1. The overall purpose of the training is to increase the number of MoneyMinded Coaches who are actively delivering MoneyMinded in the community.

This position is currently based in Richmond with a mix of in office and working from home, however our Richmond office will be closing by September 2021 and all Richmond based staff will relocate to our Eaglemont office, continuing the mix of working in office and from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the MoneyMinded training package.
• Build a strong pool of trained community sector professionals (Coaches) both within Berry Street and externally who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, confidence and enthusiasm to deliver MoneyMinded in the community; and
• Support the development of a high-quality training course and training materials for MoneyMinded coach training and delivery.

About You

• Training, coaching or facilitation experience with excellent written and oral communication skills (including public speaking, presentations and facilitation skills) with the ability to work across classroom based, blended and virtual delivery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience working within the community services sector in a direct service role.
• Good understanding of financial wellbeing issues in Australia and enthusiastic about increasing the financial well-being of vulnerable Australians.
