For over 140 years, Berry Street has adapted to a changing world, and we will continue to adapt to achieve our purpose. We believe children, young people and families should be safe, thriving and hopeful. Our Vision for 2022: Together we will courageously change lives and reimagine service systems. We look forward to working with children, young people, families, carers, staff and partners to achieve this vision. Together.
The Berry Street Education team is offering a unique opportunity to work on its first Social Impact Bond (SIB) initiative and to work in partnership with Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) to transform students and families lives across Victoria.
The Family and Education Case Manager will work alongside VACCA’s Family and Education Support worker to support students and families in three identified primary schools in the Morwell region (Years 1 to 4), who are low attenders, to close the gap on their attendance and learning.
This position is currently on a mix of office based and working from home due to the COVID-19 situation and the successful applicant will be expected to integrate into the team from home to begin with, slowly reintegrating into the office as Victorian restrictions change.
Applications including resume and cover letter addressing your suitability for the position to be submitted as soon as possible. Applications are being assessed as they are being received.
