This is an incredible opportunity to join a charity dedicated to working with children who have been exposed to physical, emotional and sexual abuse, as well as neglect, exploitation and homelessness.

About the role

This role require a social media whiz, someone with a strong understanding of emerging channels and behaviours.

This role reports into the Head of Digital Marketing and will coordinate and moderate all content (organic, boosted and ads). You will work to implement an existing social media strategy but also focus on creating new ideas to enhance the strategy.

This role is vital in raising awareness of the brand and building strong connections with a growing social audience. You will create, schedule and lead community management as well as track and report on performance using tools such as Sprout Social and Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Digital Marketing to develop a digital strategy for social media
  • Assist with the creation and production of engaging graphic and written content for monthly content calendars and social media posts to engage the intended audiences
  • Post and ad moderation on all social platforms and maintenance of the moderation response document
  • Engagement on all social channels encouraging interaction and follower growth
  • Management of leads generated from ongoing Lead Gen initiative
  • Assist fundraising campaigns with organic and paid social media content and planning
  • Measure the success of social media campaigns and create post campaign reports
  • Use third party analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and campaign performance
  • Assistance with developing ad campaigns in Facebook Business Manager using relevant objectives, targeting tools and A/B testing
  • Managing, optimising and tracking performance of paid campaigns

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in online, social media and communications coordination
  • Demonstrate relevant knowledge on the best use of social media platforms
  • Creative and innovative mindset
  • Be able to implement a social media strategy
  • Excellent writer capable in adapting styles to suit platforms and audiences
  • Strong project management experience and ability to work to deadlines
  • An interest in working for a purpose driven organisation
  • Knowledge and understanding of Facebook Business Manager, A/B testing, and analytical tools
