About the Opportunity

UNICEF Australia is seeking a creative, inspiring and results-driven Senior Partnerships Manager to lead the growth and diversification of their existing partnerships.

The Senior Partnerships Manager will lead one direct report, and will be responsible for creating innovative fundraising streams that align to the objectives of each existing partnership to sustainably raise funds aligned with established goals. The role is also responsible for overseeing a portfolio of strategic partnerships to ensure impact at scale is achieved.

You will be the strategic creative lead responsible for generating varied engagement opportunities with committed partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategic plans that focus on new and innovative ways to collaborate with current partners
  • Actively engage with domestic and global UNICEF colleagues that may include the UA programs team and country, regional and HQ departments to identify opportunities for shared value
  • Deliver new innovative and sustainable partnership outcomes by working closely to find identify the mutual needs of UNICEF Australia and each partner
  • Ensure that corporate partnership revenue targets are met and exceeded, by inspiring, innovating and delivering impactful experiences for all committed partners
  • Track and report outcomes, while providing updated communication to all internal and external stakeholders involved
  • Provide a high-touch commitment to every partner throughout the development of their donor journey

Essential criteria:

  • Proven success creatively growing partnerships to ensure sustainability and diversified growth in the relationship to meet mutual goals
  • Strong strategic research, pitch, and presentation skills with a creative flair for developing new innovative partnerships concepts
  • Confidence to liaise effectively across a global team, while promoting collaboration and shared outcomes with a solutions-based approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in order to effectively communicate to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Project management skills, including demonstrated ability to plan, implement, review and achieve project goals and objectives
  • Ability to innovate, design and implement strategies to achieve organisational objectives
  • Previous line management experience desirable
  • A genuine interest to make significant change and promote the rights of children through the work of UNICEF Australia.
