An opportunity for a highly skilled Project Manager to lead a small project team to develop, implement and review a set of comprehensive aged care advocacy projects, ensuring high standards of project deliverables are achieved.

A full-time, permanent role based in Sydney with a flexible Hybrid WFH model. Offering a competitive remuneration of $120,000 + NFP package.

About OPAN

OPAN is a national network of independent member organisations that give a voice to older people who are eligible or receiving aged care services. Working with government to influence aged care policy through systemic advocacy, the nine state and territory member organisations deliver advocacy services for older people across Australia.

• Prepares project briefs with recommendations on complex issues which are clear and detailed, tracking and managing activities to ensure projects are in line with project plans.
• Manages a team – provides advice, support and guidance to a team of Senior Project Officers
• Lead meetings with key stakeholders on project accountabilities, goals, and progress

To have success in the role:

You will be a highly organised, and agile project professional with a strong passion for connection and driving change.

You will also have:

• Qualifications in project management with 5+ years experience in a project focused
• Demonstrated experience in using project management software
• Demonstrated experience in program delivery, ideally in the area of Age Care
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written, including well developed negotiation, influencing and relationship management
• Significant experience in leadership of staff and teams in an empowering and coaching style.
• High-level organisational skills with the ability to meet manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team presentation skills
• Vaccinated against COVID-19 (as per government mandates)
