Practice Lead - Clinical Quality and Support

Beaumont People are currently partnered with an established NFP organisation based in Sydney’s Inner West to recruit for a newly created clinical support and leadership role. This is a full time, initial 6 months contract, with possibility of extension.

Reporting to the Clinical Development & Innovation Manager, you will support the development, delivery and implementation of clinical improvement initiatives across the services and key strategic projects and quality assurance projects.

The Practice Lead will work closely with the Family Supports Delivery Managers and their teams to ensure that division wide training, supervision and development requirements are administered consistently and in line with the organisations practice frameworks. You will help champion best practice foundational principles including: Evidence based and trauma informed practice, family / person centred practice, early intervention, cultural sensitivity and quality and safety.

Key areas for the role;

  • Support the development, delivery, and assessment of evidence-based, integrated services.
  • Coordinate, implement and evaluate staff development initiatives based on identified needs and strategic plans.
  • Ensure clinical supervision and training is high quality, flexible and appropriately provided across all areas of the organisation
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of all relevant policies and procedures relating to training, supervision and development.
  • Review and update the documentation associated with clinical competency based assessments
  • Contribute to developing a highly capable clinical workforce with the skills to meet positive client and funder outcomes.

A bit about you

To have success in the role you will be a driven and respectful professional who can work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, journeying with them through change.

You will also have;

  • A relevant qualification, with registration with relevant industry body i.e. APS, AASW or PACFA etc.
  • Extensive and current clinical / operational supervision and management experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Child Protection and other relevant legislation and thorough knowledge and understanding of family & domestic violence, mental health, counselling, drug and alcohol misuse and related issues
  • Demonstrated experience in initiating, coordinating and conducting training, supervision and clinical development activities across a wide range of clinical topics
  • Ability to build and maintain strong and respectful relationships
  • Have strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal along with good computer literacy skills.
  • Hold a unrestricted NSW driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes. As well as being open to undertaking pre employment checks including WWCC and national police check

Desirable

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or comparable.
  • Certified & current supervisor registration with relevant industry / membership body.
