CAGES Foundation, located in Surry Hills, is a private ancillary fund established in 2009 by Paul and Sandra Salteri as a vehicle for their family's structured giving. It is a values-driven organisation that funds organisations working to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children with a safe environment to grow up healthy, happy, and secure in culture and identity. In 2021 it was awarded Philanthropy Australia's Indigenous grant maker of the year award for its partnership with Maari Ma Health Corporation.
This four-day position has responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Foundation. The role will have a broad range of duties, including database management, diary, and travel management, board communication (including the preparation of board papers), the implementation of grant-making processes, managing Foundation communication, compliance, and providing support to the Executive Officer (EO) and the Executive Director (ED).
