The Job

Reporting into the National Fundraising Events Manager you will be mentored and supported by an exceptional manager with a drive for success and a collaborative management style.

Your primary objective is to support the logistics of their flagship event series “Memory Walk & Jog” which runs Australia-wide, this role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. The role will also support on the logistics and delivery of multiple other events that range in style and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all backend end-to-end organisation of events, including the national Memory Walk and Jog series
  • Supporting event planning, on-the-day operations & logistics, post-event analysis & reporting
  • Support & maintain strong working relationships with outsourced event suppliers
  • Experience liaising with Councils, Security, Catering and volunteers
  • Support the Campaigns team to co-ordinate their events throughout the year
  • Work to specific budgets and timelines

Experience & skills required

  • Large-scale events management experience including logistics
  • Knowledge of a broad range of events
  • Excellent project planning and management are key
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
  • Experience in customer service and relationship management
  • Good numerical skills and an understanding of working to budgets
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear, concise & confident written & verbal communication skills
