About the Organisation

The St Vincent de Paul Society in Australia has more than 45,000 members and volunteers, who work hard to assist people in need and combat social injustice across Australia.

The Society works under a State-led Model for shared national fundraising and marketing campaigns including the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, Winter Appeal, Christmas Appeal and always on campaigns across a range of Society activities. NSW is the lead state and works in collaboration with all Society States and Territories under a collaborative working group approach.

About the Role

The National Campaigns Manager is a brand-new role which will work collaboratively with all States and Territories to project manage key national fundraising and marketing campaigns including the Winter Appeal, Christmas Appeal and Vinnies CEO Sleepout and related digital campaigns.

You will act as a conduit between the Lead State (NSW) and creative agencies, as well as with the other states and territories. You will set briefs for annual appeals and campaigns; set and manage timelines; provide appeals/campaign feedback; coordinate Appeals Coordination Group meetings; and all other communications and reports.

This role will also have one direct report to manage: Digital Specialist – National Campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all elements of our national fundraising and marketing campaigns primarily the Winter Appeal, the Christmas Appeal, and the Vinnies CEO Sleepout
  • Act as the main point of contact for creative agencies and project manage all relevant agency relationships
  • Oversee delivery of all digital campaigns across social channels and search and display for key national campaigns
  • Manage campaign budgets including budget trackers and coordinating invoicing with the support of the NSW Finance team
  • Manage national printing and mail fulfilment as required
  • Provide timely reports and updates on each project
  • Maintain and develop excellent relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including the direct line management of a direct report

Skills and Attributes

  • Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Experience in a Fundraising, Marketing, or Agency role
  • Previous experience working with creative agencies
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the natural ability to coordinate the collaboration of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven budget management and invoice and account management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
