St Vincent de Paul Society NSW has been supporting people experiencing disadvantage across the state for over 140 years.
Support includes food assistance, financial aid, help with energy bills, budget counselling, school essentials, and household items such as furniture, clothing and bedding. Just as importantly, the organisation provides emotional support and connection, along with referral pathways to additional services.
Alongside this, Vinnies NSW delivers over 100 frontline services addressing issues including homelessness, domestic and family violence, disability, mental health, youth wellbeing, refugee and migrant inclusion, and recovery from addiction.
This is a newly created leadership role, reflecting the continued growth of philanthropy at the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW. As the program has expanded, there is now a dedicated focus on major gifts, allowing for a more strategic and targeted approach to engaging high-value donors.
You will directly shape the growth of Major Gifts across NSW and lead a small team. By building strong relationships with high-net-worth supporters, you will play a key part in unlocking significant funding that supports people experiencing disadvantage.
You will lead a strategic major gifts program that drives six-figure and multi-year contributions, ensuring donors feel deeply connected to the Vinnies mission and the difference their support makes.
Reporting to the Director, Fundraising, you will manage the full major donor lifecycle while working closely with senior leaders to secure transformational gifts.
This is a full time, hybrid role, working from their Lewisham Offices 3 days a week.
You bring proven experience in major gifts fundraising and a genuine passion for impact. You are confident managing high-value relationships and comfortable making significant asks.
