Role Summary

The Individual Giving Coordinator will join a team responsible for mass market fundraising, including direct marketing appeals as well as regular giving.

This role is critical in the strategic development, implementation and delivery of multi-channel campaigns that will acquire and retain supporters. You will work autonomously to better tailor supporter communications and activities through traditional direct mail initiatives, whilst also developing growth opportunities through evolving the digital and media strategies for these campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to increase the supporter base and grow revenue
  • Manage campaigns using agile ways of working to renew and upgrade supporters through a variety of channels including SMS, mail, email, telemarketing and online
  • Engage with other internal teams and external providers, ensuring all elements of the campaign are implemented effectively
  • Work closely with the Insights Unit to establish test and learn activities that can improve campaign performance
  • Ensure all campaign activity is delivered within agreed budgets and established timeframes
  • Report and evaluate on campaigns and identify recommendation and opportunities to develop and maximise performance
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including suppliers, agencies and other colleagues

Skills & Attributes

  • Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of direct marketing principles, segmentation tools and their implementation
  • Experience working with a CRM and email marketing platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyse information to make informed, data driven decisions
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage and support stakeholders to successfully deliver business outcomes within defined timelines
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, can work autonomously and uses initiative
  • A passion and desire to work for a for purpose organisation
